Most children come to The McCarton Center initially because of delays in language acquisition, motor development, social skills, and apparent behavioral or learning difficulties, Children are referred by their pediatrician or their nursery and grade school and others are brought directly by concerned parents based on their observations in the home.
The McCarton Center evaluates and treats a wide range of developmental disabilities from birth through age 14. These disabilities include:
